PBIS Welcome Page

PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.

This national program aims to create a “multi-tiered approach to social, emotional and behavior support. The broad purpose of PBIS is to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and equity of schools and other agencies. PBIS improves social, emotional and academic outcomes for all students, including students with disabilities and students from underrepresented groups.” (pbis.org) We, as a leadership team, are very new to PBIS, and will introduce PBIS in stages. Our first PBIS goal is to recognize as many students as possible for positive behavior.  Above are a few pictures of the 62 students who received their "Character Counts" T-shirt.
