Know Your Charity

Welcome to “Know Your Charity,” a talk show series focused on bringing awareness about local charities and organizations in the Greater Sacramento area. By doing this, we are hoping to inspire youth and their families to help in their community, especially during this pandemic.

This week we talked with Kathy Van Saun, an Education Program Coordinator with Hands4Hope Youth Making a Difference. Hands4Hope works with 40 different non-profit organizations and is active in 18 local high schools and middle schools. The projects are designed in a way to allow the youth to step up and engage in fundraisers and reach out to the community. Since Hands4Hope is a non-profit organization, they rely greatly on their adult and youth volunteers.
