26/27 Link Crew Orientation

Link Crew Orientation is coming soon! 9^th grade Orientation is happening on July 29th at 8:00am !

A Junior or Senior Link Leader from the Folsom High School will be contacting you to invite your 9^th grade student to our Freshmen Orientation that will take place on Wednesday, July 29th, 2026. Freshman orientation will be in-person in the Folsom High School Large Gym.

Your student will be placed in a group with other incoming freshman and at least one Link Crew Leader. They will get to know one another and complete a few activities.

What exactly is Link Crew?

Link Crew is a high school transition program for our incoming 9th grade students who are new to our high school. Link Crew Leaders are mentors and student leaders who guide the freshman to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to high school and help facilitate freshman success. 

Freshmen will be receiving a paper copy of their schedule at the end of the orientation as well. For those that cannot attend, schedules can be picked up in the Administration Building after 12:30 pm on July 29th or any time the office is open after that.

2026/2027 Junior and Senior Student Leader Training

*Informational Link Crew Meeting:

May 21st, 2026 from 2-2:15 (CTE 101).

*1st Mandatory Training: July 24th, 2026 from 8-12 pm in large gym.

*2nd Mandatory Training: July 27th, 2026 from 8-12 pm in large gym.

**Mandatory Orientation Day: July 29th, 2026 from 7:30-1 pm in large gym. 

The qualities we are looking for in leaders are:

• Responsible enough to manage a group
• Accountable to show up throughout all phases of the program during the year

 All Link Crew Leaders will need to be available during the following dates for training, orientation and meetings:
